IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Audrey M.
Bisonette
October 3, 1954 – January 24, 2026
Putnam Station, N.Y. - Audrey M. Bisonette, 71, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at Albany Medical Center following a brief illness.
She was born at Emma Lang Stevens Hospital in Granville NY on October 3, 1954, the daughter of Charles and Mary (Cahoon) Crosier. Her mom died when she was very young. After her mom passed, she was raised by her grandparents Clayton and Helen Butler.
She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, friend and fighter for what she believed in.
She married the love of her life Wayne Bisonette on August 9th, 1973, and spent 52 years making it work. She had one son, Wade Bisonette and one grandson, Jason Bisonette.
She worked in manufacturing at Darilee Industries factory in Whitehall for more than 20 years until they closed. She was then employed for International Paper in Ticonderoga for many years, finishing her working career at Angio Dynamics in Queensbury until she retired.
In recent years she spent time helping take care of her nephew Clayton Smith.
She had many interests and hobbies. She loved to go to bingo, basket parties and playing cards and doing puzzles with her sisters. She also enjoyed camping and yard sailing. She enjoyed watching anything her son and grandson or various other family members who were involved in, from sporting events to concerts and school performances, because most importantly to her was spending time with family and friends she loved. She loved her dogs Baby and Sophie and her cat Cookie. She mostly loved spending time with her grandson, her sisters, and all of her nieces and nephews, her friends, her son and her husband. She just loved her family and friends like no other. She always made sure everyone else was taken care of before she ever worried about herself, she had the biggest heart, and also would be the person you would want on your side in any situation.
She loved being a grandmother and looked forward to every second spent with her grandson. She was so proud of him and would literally do anything she could for him.
She was predeceased by her grandparents, Clayton and Helen, her parents, Charles and Mary, her mother- in-law Violet, and her father- in- law Ken, her sister, Marie Wilbur and Marie's husband Francis, her brother- in-laws, Leroy Smith and Frank Bessette, her grandsons other grandmother and one of her best Friends Alicia Cenate, and a multitude of other close family and friends from her 71 years of sharing her time with us.
Audrey is survived by her husband Wayne Bisonette, her son Wade Bisonette along with his partner Angelica Mumblow, her Grandson Jason Bisonette and his mother Lori Cenate. She is also survived by her four sisters, Linda Smith, Joan Mattison (Irvie), Charlene Bessette, Helen Waters (Armand), her grandson's other grandfather Richard Cenate, and countless nieces and nephews of multiple generations and lifelong family friends.
There are no words to measure the impact she had on so many people. If the rest of the world could have 1 percent of the amount of love and care she gave to every person she met, this world would be so much of a better place. It is our wish that anyone that has ever known her would honor her by helping anyone they can in any way they can and keep living the way she did.
She is the glue that held so many people together that we must all work together as family and friends to fill the void and make her proud.
We will always love her and miss her forever.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date to be announced.
Family to do services at later date
