Granville – Cindi L. Kelley, 68, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at the Slate
Valley Center for Rehab and Nursing in Granville following a long illness.
She was born in Cambridge, New York on November 18, 1956, the daughter of Richard L. Kelley, Sr, and the late Vera (Martelle) Kelley.
Cindi was employed as a certified nursing assistant at Equinox Terrace in Manchester,Vt. for several years and always cared for the residents with much enthusiasm and compassion.
She was a horticulturist, working in her flower and vegetable gardens. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking and taking care of others before herself. Her family remembers her as "Mustang Sally" because of her special attention that she gave to her Mustang. Her greatest passion in life was for her grandchildren and her family.
Besides her mother, she is predeceased by her brother, Ronald L. Kelley and her son-in- law, Richard Smith.
She is survived by her father, Richard L. Kelley, Sr, of Granville, her two daughters, Lisa A. Monroe and her husband Jonathan of Argyle, Tammy L. Smith of Cambridge, and her son, Paul D. Morgan and his wife Taylor of Florida. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Richard L Kelley, Jr of Granville, Dexter L. Kelley and his wife Betsy of East Poultney, Vt., Robert L. Kelley and his wife Digna Salcido of Texas, Kathleen L. Kelley and her companion, Mark Munzert of Queensbury, Valerie L. Corrow and her husband Marty of Wells, Vt., her seven grandchildren, Nicole B. Nichols, Kayla M. Viele, Justin M. Shaw, Lindsay M. Shaw, Hayleigh M. Shaw, Richard K. Smith, III., Colt Morgan as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday, June 20, 2025 at the Michael G. Angiolillo Funeral Home, 210 Broadway, Whitehall, N.Y. Family and friends may call on Friday from 4:30 pm until the time of the service at the funeral home.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at the Mettawee Valley Cemetery, Pawlet, Vt. Following the committal service, the family will continue the celebration of Cindi's life at the American Legion Post 323, 10 Columbus Street in Granville. All are invited.
