WHITEHALL, N.Y. - Donald Wideawake Jr., born January 1, 1976, passed away Dec. 21, 2013. He was 37. He is survived by his parents, father Donald Wideawake Sr. of Whitehall, N.Y., and mother Patricia Wideawake of Paisley, Fla.; a brother, Tim Wideawake of Whitehall, N.Y.; three sisters, Melissa Bushman of Paisley, Fla., Daisy Pope of Rutland, Vt., and Jackie Ransom of Flint, Mich.; also an aunt, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and -nephews, and cousins. He was very ill the last three years with diabetes, which he had since he was 8 years old. He had worked for a while at McDonald's Restaurant in Whitehall, N.Y. He enjoyed reading his comic books, watching cartoons and spending time with his good friend, Tim Norton. Donnie will be missed dearly. He has gone to Heaven to be with the Lord and his family. We love you very much, our brother, Donnie.
