Mocksville, N.C. - Ethel E. Deemer-Kremis, 90, passed away following a short illness while residing with her daughter in Mocksville, N.C. on Thursday morning, May 7th, 2026.

She was born on July 26, 1935 in Yonkers, N.Y. to her parents, Brigadier George M. Hulihan and Olive Thelma (Dunn) Hulihan, officers with the Salvation Army Corps.

She attend school in Trenton, N.J.  Her faith was a very important part of her life.

She and her family resided in Philadelphia, Pa. until 1975 when her father passed away. Her family moved to Wells, Vt. to be with her mother. In 1985, due to her husband’s employer relocating their company, they moved to Harriman, Tenn. Following her husband, Bill Deemer’s death she remained in Tennessee until her mother needed additional assistance, moving back to Wells to care for her. After her mother’s passing, Ethel moved to a warmer claimant, moving to Ormand Beach, Fla. It was there that she met and shortly thereafter married her soulmate, Thomas A. Kremis. In their senior years, they were able to care for each other and their love for each other was evident for all to see.

Through all the years, she truly enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren and will be missed greatly.

Ethel was a member of Slate Valleys Chapter #122 Order of the Eastern Star in Granville, N.Y. for 47 years. When she relocated to Ormand Beach Florida, She became very active in several chapters within their jurisdiction.

Ethel is predeceased by her late husband’s, John Angiolillo, William L. Deemer, her brother, George Hulihan, her two daughters-in law, Mary Ann Angiolillo and Linda Angiolillo and her brother-in-law, John Frustaci.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Arthur Kremis of Mocksville, N.C., her three sons, John A. Angiolillo of Ormand Beach, Fla., Michael G. Angiolillo of Granville, and Whitehall, N.Y. and Frank L. Angiolillo and his companion Cheryl Walsh of Wells, Vt., her two daughters, Lisa Marie McLean and her companion Dennis McLean of Mocksville, N.C. and Kimberly L. Smith of Kingston, Tenn. She is survived by her 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Gladys Frustaci of Landsdale, Pa. and Wells, Vt., and her 3 nephews.

There will be no immediate calling hours or services at this time. A private committal service will be held at a later date in Kingston Memorial Gardens in Rockwood, Tenn.

Angiolillo Funeral Home, 210 Broadway, Whitehall, N.Y. 12887 and local arrangements are under the direction of the Lambert Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Mocksville, N.C.
