Harold T. Hyatt

Whitehall, N.Y. - Harold Hyatt, 82, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 after a successful surgery at Glens Falls Hospital.

Harold was born on July 24, 1944 and grew up in Whitehall, NY on the family farm.

He worked for 30 years at the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation, and retired in 1999. He worked on the side as a private land surveyor throughout his life.

Harold was a longtime Free and Accepted Mason in Granville, Queen Valleys Chapter #122, Order of the Eastern Star, State of New York and an Order of the Amaranth member.

He is survived by five children, eight grandchildren, his girlfriend Elsie Eno, and her family.

The family asks for time to grieve and appreciates all of the messages of support they have received.

Services will be held in Whitehall. Details about the services and burial will be released at a later date.
