Castleton, Vt. -  Jo-Ann F. Round, 63, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at Rutland Regional Medical Center, Rutland, following a brief illness.

She was born on November 23, 1960, in Glens Falls, N.Y., the daughter of the late Guyle Plude and Frances (Stark) Plude.

Jo-Ann is a graduate of Whitehall Central High School, "Class of 1978".

She was employed by the General Electric Company in Rutland, Vt. for 25 years, retiring in 2021.

Jo-Ann and her husband, Paul V. Round were united in marriage on September 17, 2016.  Following her retirement, she and Paul were able to enjoy quality time together.

Her family said that she enjoyed shopping trips, collecting anything that had lions associated with them, fishing with her husband and spending much quality time with her family and especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Paul V. Round, daughters: Vanessa (Tom) Wade, Ciara (Dan) McConkey, stepsons, Michael (Chris) Round, Paul Round Jr, stepdaughters, Leeanne (Mitch) Martell, Paula (Jeffrey) Mulholland.  Brother Guyle (Ron) Plude, sister, Sherry (Paul) Reece. Sisters and brothers-in-law, with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family will be holding a celebration of Jo-Ann's life on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 3:00 pm at the Whitehall Elks Lodge in Whitehall, N.Y.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Jo-Ann's memory to the Rutland Humaine Society.
