He enjoyed carpentry and whittling walking canes. John enjoyed creating and landscaping around the "Pond".
John was a devoted, loving husband and father. It was John and Tammy's quirky sense of humor that got them through difficult times. He and Kathryn bonded over the works of J.J.R. Tolkien and watching rerun's of "Gilligan's Island" and "The Three Stooges". John especially enjoyed the time he spent with Addison fishing and playing "Guild Wars" and "World of Tanks" computer games. He was also extremely proud of Michael's accomplishments.
He was a good friend to many and was always available to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Of his many friends, he had a long cherished friendship with Cindy and Rick Goodman of Queensbury.
