In 1990, Joseph moved back to his hometown of Whitehall, got himself a parcel of land and fulfilled his dream of building "a cabin on the hill" with the help of his three sons, spending his days tending to his apple trees and garden, enjoying visits with family and reminiscing with long time friends.
