Obituary

Whitehall, N.Y. – Marion J. Parker, 84, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Rutland Regional Medical Center, Rutland,Vt. following a long illness.

She was born on August 26, 1930 in Whitehall, N.Y., the daughter of the late Charles Aubin and Emma (Rock) Aubin.

Marion was a communicant of Our Lady of Hope Roman Catholic Church of Whitehall.

She enjoyed flowers, gardening, cooking and baking for her family.  She enjoyed her cats, but most of all, she enjoyed visits from her family, for whom she will be greatly missed.

Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Raymond F. Parker who died in 1960, her two sons, Gary and Tom Parker, her brothers, Charles and Harry Aubin and her two sisters, Ann Davis and Carol Monroe.

She is survived by her five daughters; Linda Rozell and her husband John of Whitehall, Sue Roberts and her husband Lowell of Rutland, Vt., Rosemary Marr of Queensbury, Patricia Neddo of Clemons, and Lisa Smith and her husband Timothy of Southport, N.C., one son Michael Parker and his companion  Angel of Glens Falls, and her daughter-in-law, Jenny Parker of Fair Haven, Vt.  She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and her sister, Ida May LaRose of Whitehall, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday, February 27, 2015, at Our Lady of Hope Roman Catholic Church, Skene Street, Whitehall, NY, with Reverend Rendell Torres, pastor officiating.  A Rite of Committal will be held in the spring in Greenmount Cemetery, Whitehall, NY.

Friends may call on the family from 6 to 8 pm on Thursday, February 26, 2015, at the Michael G. Angiolillo Funeral Home, 210 Broadway, Whitehall, NY.

Following the services on Friday, the family invites friends to a reception at Our Lady of Hope Parish Hall to continue the celebration of Marion's life.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Marion's memory to Our Lady of Hope Roman Catholic Church, 9 Wheeler Ave, Whitehall, NY 12887 or to the Whitehall Food Bank.
