Whitehall, N.Y.  -  It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert C. "Bo" McQuade, Jr. of Whitehall, N.Y. at his home on February 18th, 2025.

Bo was born on August 24, 1962, in Albany, N.Y., the son of Robert C. McQuade, Sr. and the late Jean C. (Milton) McQuade.

He had an associate's degree in science.

Bo was well known in the community for his bold and sometimes over the top personality.  He was an avid gardener, craftsman like his mother and an aspiring poet.  He also loved telling stories about all of the adventures he had in life.

He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.  May he find happiness in his next journey and be with the ones he loved that also left us far too soon.  Rest in peace Bo.  Son, brother lover and friend.

Bo is predeceased by his life partner, Charles K. "Chuck" Riley, and his mother, Jean C. McQuade.

Bo is survived by his father, Robert C. McQuade, Sr. his brother, Todd R. McQuade, Sr., his half siblings, Cheri, Ralph and Tammy Stockholm, his nephews, Todd R. McQuade, Jr., Christopher M. McQuade and great nephew Todd R. McQuade, III.

A celebration of life will be held from 1 to 4pm on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at his home on Clemons Center Road, Clemons, N.Y.
