Whitehall - Timothy Allyn Beardsley passed away suddenly on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Rutland Regional Medical Center in Rutland, VT.
He was born March 25, 1962 in Danbury, CT the first son of Margaret Ranslow and George Vincent Beardsley. He graduated from Agawam High School in Massachusetts and enlisted in the US Coast Guard in 1979 and became a Machinery Technician. He received a commendation on October 2, 1985 for exceptionally meritorious service from October 31, 1984 to December 31, 1984 during an inter-agency and international operational effort, Wagonwheel.
He married the love of his life, Jean Teresa Purdy, on October 8, 2011. They attended Grace Baptist Church. Tim was employed at Hill Electric in Glens Falls after working many years at Macleod's Lumber in Whitehall.
He is predeceased by his mother, father and brother James Beardsley. Tim is survived by his wife Jean, his siblings, Janice Brien, Barbara Struble, Edward Beardsley, Tracie Johns, Patty Keen, and several nieces and nephews. He is will be missed by his family and friends.
Friends may call on Sunday, October 25 th from 4pm to 5pm with memorial services to follow at Grace Baptist Church, 12 Queen Street, Whitehall, NY.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be given in Tim's name to either the Adirondack Vet's House for displaced veterans, 26 Pine Street, Glens Falls, N.Y. 12801, SPCA of Upstate New York, 588 Queensbury Ave., Queensbury, N.Y. 12804 or to the Whitehall Volunteer Fire Department, 116 Main Street, Whitehall, N.Y. 12887.
