Cody M. Fitzpatrick

Whitehall  -  Cody M. Fitzpatrick, 21, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 following a tragic automobile accident.

He was born on October 27, 1996 in Glens Falls, N.Y., the son of Michael and Cindy (Wilbur) Fitzpatrick.

Cody is a graduate of Whitehall Central School and received a certificate of completion from the Adirondack BOCES program in heavy equipment.  He was currently employed for Dimensional Mills Inc. in Hudson Falls.

He enjoyed working and building cars including his Honda Civic.  He enjoyed hunting and spending time with his friends.  Above all, he dearly loved his family and especially his grandma Wilbur. 

Cody is predeceased by his paternal great-grandmothers, Catherine Craney and Mary Fitzpatrick, his maternal great-grandparents, Charles and Mary Crosier and Leon and Margaret Wilbur, one uncle, Robert Ballard and cousin James Laraway.

He is survived by his father, Michael Fitzpatrick and his companion of 16 years, Jessica Westerman, his mother, Cindy Fitzpatrick and her companion of 10 years, Richard Sheerer, his two brothers, Colton Fitzpatrick, Derrick Sheerer and his two sisters, Aimee Fitzpatrick and Richelle Sheerer, all of Whitehall.  He is also survived by his paternal grandparents, David and Wendy Fitzpatrick of Troy, Mary and Randy Bridger of Whitehall and Scott and Lorraine Westerman of Whitehall, his maternal grandparents, Francis and Marie Wilbur of Whitehall.  He also leaves behind many aunts and uncles, cousins, and his very close friends, Armand Ryther, Brittany Warner, Blake Briggs and Dan Mickel.

Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Friday, February 9, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Michael G. Angiolillo Funeral Home, 210 Broadway, Whitehall, N.Y. 

Following the calling hours, there will be as Funeral Service at 8:00 pm at the funeral home with Reverend Kevin Gebo, pastor of the Truthville Baptist Church in Truthville officiating.

The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in Cody’s name to the American Diabetes Association, 2 Pine West Plaza, Albany,  N.Y.  12205.
